Kelly Armstrong, BScAgr

Financial Advisor

Growing up in Huron County, Kelly was immersed in the farming community from a young age. One thing she learned early & still loves is that the agriculture industry is unique in that it is a very interconnected community. To this day, Kelly enjoys running into people she knows from all over Ontario, and this is only one of the many reasons Kelly decided to pursue agri-business as a career.

Kelly Armstrong joined O’Farrell Financial in 2018 as a Financial Advisor, contributing over a decade of agri-business & professional experience in a variety of roles. Kelly is also a current member of the Advanced Agricultural Leadership Program’s Class 17.

Kelly is an experienced Agri-Business professional with a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from the University of Guelph. Upon graduation, Kelly launched into her Agricultural career, conducting research and analysis with such organizations as Syngenta and Statistics Canada. She eventually switched direction to begin a career in the financial industry as a Client Relationship Manager at a bank in 2012. This experience has been an asset in understanding the financial issues that our clients are faced with, and how their businesses work.

In 2010, Kelly and her husband made the decision to re-establish themselves in Chris’ hometown of Renfrew. Kelly has quickly grown to love eastern Ontario because of the strong sense of community.  In her spare time Kelly enjoys coaching her daughter’s ringette team, camping with her family and travelling all over Canada with Chris to visit their friends from University.

Kelly’s agri-business experience, work ethic and professional reputation make her a great fit for both the O’Farrell Financial team and clients. Kelly will primarily work from our Renfrew office location.
