O’Farrell Financial Sponsorship Guidelines

Building Stronger Communities

O’Farrell Financial Services recognizes that it is our responsibility to help strengthen the communities in which we live and work. We encourage and support our employees to become involved in their communities, lending their voluntary support to programs that enrich the quality of life for all citizens. Our goal is to achieve a positive social impact through sponsorships and employee volunteerism.

There are two major causes which we support: Agriculture and Health & Wellness.

Agriculture

“If you’ve eaten today, thank a Farmer.” Farmers are essential to the fundamental well-being of our community and our great country. We support Agriculture events and associations within the communities we serve. Throughout Eastern Ontario we support a number of organizations such as various chapters of the Soil and Crop Improvement Association, Dairy Farmers of Ontario, 4-H and the Ottawa Valley Seed Growers Association.

A Few Additional Things to Consider:

Timing: We require time to properly consider and review each applicant. We require 60 days to do so. Requests submitted less than 30 days before the event may be refused. We determine our Community Sponsorships in October of each year. When possible, please submit your request for support by September 15th for the upcoming year.

Location: We will consider events located in the communities in which we serve - Brockville, Cornwall, Kemptville, and Winchester, Ontario.

Qualification: Eastern Ontario is overflowing with many community minded individuals. There are numerous deserving initiatives occurring throughout the communities. We have focused our sponsorship dollars where we feel it will have the most impact for the majority of our clients and staff; Agriculture and Health & Wellness. If your organization is not directly linked to either of these two categories, your application may be denied.
